Indonesian football start a new chapter together LPI

Indonesia will get a fresh breeze with a league match for the LPI.
Premier League Indonesia (LPI) initiative results from oil and gas company Medco boss, Arifin Panigoro. LPI attend because of concerns about the condition of the wheels Arifin Panigoro professional competition that is not also produce quality players and national teams who excel. LPI will start rolling on January 8, 2011 to bring together their opening match against Persema club FC Solo Malang at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java.


If the Indonesian Super League (LSI) belonging to clubs PSSI participants received funding from the Government budget amounted to billions of dollars every season. So the club will get a subsidy LPI. The amount depends on the needs of each club.

To smooth bergulirnya wheel competition, the management of LPI was already ready. Already there are 19 clubs which states are willing to join the LPI.

Among others: Aceh United, Bali De Vata, Bandung FC, Batavia Union, Bogor Raya, Bird of Paradise in Papua, Jakarta 1928, Kabau Padang, Knights XI Solo, PSM Makassar, Manado United, Star Medan, Medan Chiefs, Persebaya, Persema, Persibo, Real Mataram, Semarang FC United and Wolves.

Although still the polemics between PSSI and LPI but we expect with the new competition LPI then there will be changes to the Indonesian football towards a better and bring a quality player so as to bring the national team triumphed international arena.
